Funding Programs for Cotutelle Theses

The SAFAR doctoral scholarship program was established in 2017. These scholarships, co-funded by the Lebanese partner institutions and the French Embassy, are awarded to Lebanese doctoral students enrolled in cotutelle theses (and, if applicable, co-supervised) with an institution in France. They aim to initiate a research project or strengthen an existing scientific collaboration.

All scholarship recipients will hold the status of French Government Scholar during their stays in France.

You can find details of the program and the call for applications on the Campus France website: https://www.liban.campusfrance.org/
