Doctoral Forum

The Doctoral School of Science and Technology (EDST) at the Lebanese University organizes its doctoral forum every September.

This forum allows doctoral students to present their thesis progress and receive feedback from other doctoral students and teacher-researchers at the University.

The event will be held at EDST – Hadath.

1. Doctoral students at the end of their first year must give a 10-minute oral presentation followed by a 10-minute discussion period.
2. Doctoral students in their 2nd and 3rd year (or beyond) must give an oral presentation or present a poster (as decided by the jury).

The presentation should summarize:

– The main objectives of the thesis, methods used, results obtained, planned work, and conclusions.
– The program will be sent at the beginning of September.

The presence of the doctoral student and their supervisor is expected on the day of the forum; students abroad in September should present via videoconference.
