The Doctoral School in Science and Technology (EDST) at the Lebanese University organizes en septembre de chaque année son forum doctoral.

This forum allows PhD students to present their thesis progress and receive feedback from other PhD students and university researchers.

This event will take place at the EDST - Hadat.

1- PhD students at the end of their first year of thesis must make a 10-minute oral presentation followed by a 10-minute discussion period.

2- Doctoral students enrolled in their 2nd and 3rd years of thesis (or more) must give an oral presentation or present a poster (according to the jury's decision).

The presentation should summarize:

– The main objectives of the thesis, the methods used, the results obtained, the work to be done, and conclusions.

The program will be sent out at the beginning of September.

The presence of the doctoral candidate and their supervisor is expected on the day of the forum; students abroad in September must give their presentation via videoconference.
